To promote and encourage technical, scientific, creative and artistic skills
through collaboration and education in Newbury and the surrounding areas.
The Hackspace was created to promote and encourage technical, scientific, creative
and artistic skills through collaboration and education in Newbury, Thatcham and the surrounding areas.
We make, craft, mend, re-purpose, create, share, teach, learn in a community workshop with amazing equipment,
such as laser cutter, 3d printers, soldering station, electronics kits, drills, saws, lathe and a CNC machine.
Members are able to access the space at any time.
We are open to visitors and guests every Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm.
We are suspending our weekly open evening until further notice in light of the current situation.
We are however still open to members to use the space for their own projects who are not showing symptoms and have not been in contact with infected people.
We ask that handwashing and wiping tools and equipment handles with the wipes provided be done after use.
Thank you for your understanding in these difficult times.
